A smart microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station was showcased during the 15th edition of ELECRAMA 2023, the world’s largest electrical exhibition, which was held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
ELECRAMA 2023, organised by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), was held from February 18-22.
At ELECRAMA 2023, Delta Electronics displayed a wide portfolio of IoT-based Smart Green Solutions and launched its two products–a smart microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station and the new Open-Loop Variable-Torque Standard Drive VP3000 Series.
The smart microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station is a total solution integrating Delta’s EV chargers, energy storage systems, solar PV inverters and EV Charging Infrastructure Management System to enable microgrids capable of providing clean electricity to EVs while helping to stabilise the grid of the EV charging infrastructure.
The new Open-Loop Variable-Torque Standard Drive VP3000 Series specifically designed for the fluid industry to enhance machine operation efficiency and reduce inverter harmonic wave distribution. As a critical part of device-based energy saving, it is suitable for fans, pumps, HVAC, water supply, compressors, and other variable-torque application equipment.
Talking about the Green EV Charging Station, Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India, said, “We have cumulatively delivered over 7,000 EV chargers to our customers across the country, and the Green EV Charging Station launched at ELECRAMA 2023 will help facilitate India’s e-mobility transition even further.”
He said installing Green EV Charging Stations depends on availability of space and these Charging Stations can be installed at open areas, highways, malls, parking lots and desert areas.
About the new VP3000 series, Nayak said it is an important addition to the company’s broad Industrial Automation Solutions offering for a wide range of applications.
Commenting on the smart microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station, Nikhil Gupta, Director (Sales), EVCS and PVI Business, Delta Electronics India, said the Green EV Charging Station is ‘Made in India’ and is designed in India.
