Bajaj Auto’s November sales up 21%


Two and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto on Friday reported a rise of 21 per cent in total sales, including exports, for November 2017.

According to the company, its total sales during the month rose to 326,458 units from 269,948 units sold during the corresponding month of 2016.

Bajaj Auto’s total domestic sales last month stood at 179,835 units — up 16 per cent — from 154,523 units sold in November last year.

Similarly, its overall exports edged higher by 27 per cent to 146,623 units from 115,425 units during November 2016.

The total motorcycle sales grew by 11 per cent to 263,970 units from 237,757 units.

In addition, the overall commercial vehicle sales surged by 94 per cent to 62,488 units from 32,191 units sold during November 2016.
