The drivers operating Oxy Cabs can now enjoy their full share of the fare. Oxy Cabs has in a policy decision said it would not charge any commission from the drivers.
Other cab aggregators in the market usually charge 30-35 per cent of the earning from each passenger ride.
The company has said it will not fix any daily or monthly target either for the driver, but charge a monthly fee of Rs 1,000 from every Oxy Cabs car on the road.
Founded by Rahul Patni and Anup Jangid, Oxy Cabs is a mobile technology and web platform-based start-up with “100% equity only in India”.
“An Oxy Cab has its 100% equity only in India. This is a special initiative to make the Indian economy stronger,” the company said in a statement.
Co-founder Rahul Patni said, “We focus on facilities for passengers too. While taking a great initiative towards women empowerment and promoting women drivers in the cabs, we are aimed to create a safer ride for the woman travelling alone. An Oxy Cab provides complimentary water bottle to passengers during rides with no hidden charges… Besides, every cab will have generic medicines recommended by medical departments…without any separate charges by Oxy Cabs.”
Anup Jangid, Co-founder, Oxy Cabs, added, “The mission of Oxy Cabs is not only providing employment to drivers, but also making them self-sufficient and independent. And, we encourage men as well as women drivers. We provide them proper driving skills to sustain smoothly in the market. Oxy Cabs also provide loan facilities, by recognised banks and other financial institutes, for the driver who desires to be a part of the Oxy family and serve customers/passengers. We are expanding Oxy Cabs to Uttar Pradesh, and in cities like Jaipur, Delhi, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur.”
