Candidates seeking to participate in the JEXPO 2018 and VOCLET 2018 examinations can now apply via the official website of the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WEBSCTE).

The WEBSCTE, which conducts the examinations, opened the application process on Monday, 29 January.

The polytechnic examinations are held for admission into Diploma courses in Engineering & Technology. While JEXPO is conducted for admission to the first year classes, VOCLET is for admission to second year classes.

Applicants can read the complete notification on the official website, webscte.co.in. Besides online, the application forms can also be obtained offline from all government, government-sponsored and self-financed polytechnics affiliated to the council.

Applications can be obtained till March 5. Admit cards will be available from April 2.

Earlier on 24 January, WEBSCTE had announced the dates of the JEXPO 2018 and VOCLET 2018 examinations.

The JEXPO 2018 examination will be conducted on Sunday, 29 April. VOCLET 2018 examination will be conducted on 6 May.

JEXPO 2018 can be taken by those who have cleared class 10 with at least 35 per cent marks. VOCLET 2018 can be taken by those who have cleared class 12 from WBSCT&VE&SD or passed 2 years’ continuous course of ITI after Madhyamik or equivalent examinations.

It is expected that the results of both the examinations will be declared on 18 May.
