Aneek Chaudhari’s film White was successfully screened at the Reaktor Indian Film Festival in Vienna 2018 on June 8 at 19:00 hours local time. The event attended by persons belonging to the field of arts and culture, but not limited to visual arts personalities.
Presided over by the festival director, Bernhard Kammel, the festival got inaugurated on June 7. Built within an ancient heritage, REAKTOR proved to be the perfect set-up for a romance between Cinema and its audience.
Joanna Godwin-Seidl, Director at Vienna Theatre Project was there at the screening of White. She responded after watching, “WHITE by Aneek Chaudhuri is a beautifully filmed silent movie about coping after rape and the strength of women. I also loved the music in this film.”
Also, Lens on Paper, a book on film studies by Aneek Chaudhuri was inaugurated by the festival director Bernhard Kammel. The book comments on the usage of Colors in Cinema. Lens on Paper is supposed to be a book that integrates Physics and Film Studies. It will be soon available in India and digital versions are available on Barnes and Noble, Google Play, i books, Kobo etc.
It turned out to be a great night for the director as well as the author, Aneek Chaudhuri. The film now prepares itself for other countries.
