The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results for ICSE Class 10 2018 and ISC Class 12 2018 on Monday, 14 May, at 3 pm.

Conducted by the CISCE, the results for the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) was released on the official website of the CISCE: cisce.org

Besides the official website, candidates can check the results on cisce.examresults.net and results.nic.in

How to check results:

Step 1: Go to official website of the CISCE: cisce.org

Step 2: Click on ‘Results 2018’ tab

Step 3: Select ICSE or ISC from the dropdown menu under ‘course’.

Step 4: Enter your Unique ID (UID), Index No., and captcha as it appears on the screen.

Step 5: Click on ‘Show Result’ button; also take a print out by clicking on the ‘Print Result’ button.

Candidates can also check their results via SMS.

For ICSE Class 10 results 2018:

Type ‘ICSE<Space><Unique Id>’ and send it to 09248082883.

For ISCE Class 12 results 2018:

Type ‘ISC<Space><Unique Id>’ and send it to 09248082883.

Students can also apply for recheck their papers online by clicking on the tab ‘Apply Recheck Online’.

The 2018 ICSE Class 10 exams were held from 26 February to 28 March while that of the ISCE Class 12 examination was held between 7 February and 2 April.

In January this year, the CISCE reduced the passing marks for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations to 33 and 35 marks, respectively. Earlier, students needed 35 marks to pass ICSE Class 10 and 40 to pass ISC Class 12.

Last year, the ICSE results were declared on 29 May.

A total of 98.53 per cent passed ICSE and 96.47 per cent passed ISC last year. The number of boys who passed in ICSE was 94,957 and that of girls was 77,765. In ISC, number of boys who passed were 37,872 and number of girls who passed were 33,161. The overall pass percentage of girls was high in both examinations.
