The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) is expected to announce the result for its Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam on Thursday, 25 May. According to a statement released by the GBSHSE, the result will be out by 11 a.m.
Candidates, who have appeared for the class 10 exam this year, can check their results on the official site of GBSHSE, www.gbshse.gov.in as well as through SMS.
While the result will be declared on 25 May, candidates can collect their marksheets cum passing certificates from their respective schools on 27 May, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Head of Institutions (HOI) can collect their school’s results from the collection centres. Here is the list of centres they can collect their results from:
- Mormugao: St.Andrew’s Institute, Vasco
- Canacona, Salcete: Loyola High School, Margao
- Kepem, Sanguem: S.E.S. High School, Curchorem
- Ponda, Dharbandora: A J De Almeida High School, Ponda
- Tiswadi: Progress High School, Panaji
- Bardez, Pernem: Dnyanprasarak Vidayalaya, Mapusa
- Bicholim, Satteri: Progress High School, Sankhali
Apart from checking their results online, private candidates can collect their marksheets from the GBSHSE’s office after producing the Hall Ticket.
The Goa Board SSC exam 2017 was conducted between 1 to 21 April, 2017. The exam was held across 27 centres across Goa. Over 19,000 appeared for the exam of which 9,828 were girls and 9,530 boys. In the academic year 2015-16, over 20,000 students appeared for the exam which included 10,387 girls and 10,419 boys.
