During the COVID crisis, this Hospital was transformed into a dedicated Covid Health Centre (DCHC) and has treated thousands of Covid-positive service personnel, retirees, and their dependents from the region.

“I applaud the services provided by the BSF Composite Hospital staff for the services they have rendered to our region and people. Especially, the dedication of all the doctors, nurses and frontline COVID warriors, who helped saved hundreds of lives. I will be donating additional equipment to the hospital through my MPLAD funds,” Mr Bista said.

Present on the occasion was Dr Akhil Chandra Karmakar, Inspector General (Medical)/MS, CP Saxena, GID/PSO, Dr V Raja DIG (Medical), Pankaj Kumar, DIG Group Centre, CRPF, RM Kaushik, Officiating Commandant, 176 Bn BSF, and other doctors and SAG staff. “I thank all those who have made BSF Hospital Kadamtala such an important avenue towards ensuring healthcare for all our CAPF jawans and their families,” Mr Bista said.
