Uttar Pradesh govt orders judicial probe into Sambhal violence
The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has ordered a judicial inquiry into the recent incident of violence in Sambhal in which at least four persons lost their lives.
The Uttar Pradesh government had provided about Rs 10 lakh aid to each of the kin of about 50 journalists who passed away due to coronavirus.
Extending financial support to the families of journalists who lost their lives to Covid-19 on the occasion of ‘Good Governance Day’, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced an aid of Rs 5.30 crore here on Sunday.
The state government will provide financial aid to the families of the deceased journalists, officials here on Saturday said.
It is noteworthy that in the month of July, the Uttar Pradesh government had provided about Rs 10 lakh aid to each of the kin of about 50 journalists who passed away due to coronavirus.
