In the recent past, one after another cases of accidents involving the country’s corporate train Vande Bharat came to light. The Railways now has made a master plan to prevent such incidents.
The Ministry of Railways has taken a big step to prevent accidents of the trains. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that a new design of a special type of boundary wall has been allowed to prevent such accidents.
He informed this reporter that the new boundary wall will be installed along the tracks in the next 5-6 months.
It is worth noting here that in last month, the Vande Bharat train collided with cattle several times. Two such incidents happened in two consecutive days.
In one of the incidents, Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express rammed into a cow. The front portion of the train was also slightly damaged due to the accident. The incident took place near Anand station in Gujarat. However, there was no harm to any passenger in the accident
A day before the accident, a semi-high-speed train had hit four buffaloes after which a part of it had to be changed.
The Railway Minister also reacted to that incident. He had said that collision with cattle on the tracks is inevitable. This has been kept in mind while designing the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat train. During this, he also said that steps are being taken to prevent accidents with cattle.
