Assam Police SI recruitment 2018: The Assam Police department has invited applications for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors. The number of vacancies is 490. Candidates can apply online through the Assam Police website – http://www.assampolice.gov.in

• Last date for receiving applications: November 12, 2018.

“The total number of vacancies for recruitment of Sub-Inspector (UB) will be 490. Online applications from the eligible candidates who did not apply earlier in pursuance to advertisement dated 11-04-2018 will be received w.e.f. 23-10-18 to 12-11-2018 through Assam Police Website www.assampolice.gov.in,” the official notification said on the website.
The candidates who had applied earlier, need not to again.
Age-limit:
• The candidates should be in the age bracket of 20 to 24 years.
Academic qualification:
• The applying candidate should be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
How to apply:
• The candidates can apply online from the official website- www.assampolice.gov.in to apply for the above posts.
Exam pattern:
• The written test will be a total of 100 marks with every question of 1 mark.
• There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer.
• The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
• The questions will be set in three parts-
• Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension
• Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India
• General Knowledge.
