Amid the shocking news of Anthony Bourdain suicide, his girlfriend Asia Argento has expressed her views on the social media. The 42-year-old actress said that she is beyond devasted after the death of Bourdain.
Asia took to Twitter and posted a message for Anthony’s fans which read: “Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generousity knew no bounds,” the Italian actress wrote. “He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated.”
The renowned chef, TV host and author apparently committed suicide on Friday. Within minutes of the news of his death broke, several celebrities took to Twitter to mourn the loss. Here is what the celebrities had to say.
Former US president Barack Obama also took to Twitter and posted a throwback picture with the chef. He wrote “Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer.” This is how I’ll remember Tony. He taught us about food — but more importantly, about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid of the unknown. We’ll miss him.”
