“Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday lauded the functioning of Telangana Police and its IT initiatives.
The Kerala Chief Minister visited the Punjagutta police station here and Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate along with Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy and the state’s Director General of Police M Mahendra Reddy.
According to an official release, the Kerala Chief Minister was impressed with the Telangana Police performance and the infrastructure provided to the department.

He also said a team would be sent to Telangana to study in detail and implement the same in Kerala.
The Kerala Chief Minister praised the functioning of police stations in Telangana, the release said adding he observed the process of petition registration at the reception counter to the processing of the complaint.
Later, he visited Technology Fusion Centre and Traffic Command Control Centre in the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate, it said.
The Telangana DGP explained the working of TS COP and Hawk-Eye Mobile Applications.
Punjagutta police station was early this year adjudged the second best police station in the country in a survey conducted by the Quality Council of India and Ministry of Home Affairs.
Telangana Police are using technology and IT enabled technologies, as a force multiplier, in crime prevention, detection, public order management, traffic management, women and child safety, surveillance over criminals, work force management among others.
