Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar proved that Brazilians have flair on and off the pitch with an Instragram post of his sharply dressed all-Brazilian ‘squad’.

For those who cant recognise the quartet: (L-R) Nene, Neymar, Ronaldo and Dani Alves.

Neymar, who became the world’s most expensive player of all time when he made a €222 million switch from Barcelona to PSG has Brazilian legend Ronaldo on his left. Ronaldo was known as the ‘O Fenômeno’ during his playing days and won the World Cup twice (1994 and 2002).

Widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all-time, Ronaldo was no slouch in club football and played for a host of illustrious names including Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Real Madrid, among others.

On Ronaldo’s left is Neymar’s teammate for club and country, Dani Alves. Alves at 34, continues to sparkle on the pitch and is one of the premier right-backs in world football. The diminutive defender was an integral part of Barcelona’s legendary squad that dominated Europe not so long ago and while he moved onto Juventus in 2016, his single season with the Bianconeri saw him cement his reputation. He moved to PSG after just one season in Italy and is said to have played a crucial role in getting Neymar to leave Barcelona for Paris.

On Neymar’s right, however, is the one player who might feel like the odd one out in such illustrious company.

Nene, a journeyman, has never been capped for the national side despite playing for a host of European sides including Monaco, PSG and West Ham United, among others. At 36, the winger continues to play but is undoubtedly in the twilight of his career and is currently plying his trade for Brazilian side Vasco da Gama.

Brazil, already qualified for the World Cup, host Chile on Wednesday morning in the final qualifier in a game which has plenty at stake for the visitors.

The third-placed Chileans are not sure of their spot at next year’s showpiece event in Russia and will have to beat the Brazilians to book their berth, an onerous task considering the hosts’ ominous form for the past two years.
