Premier League clubs approve changes to associated party transaction rules
The proposed changes came into play after an independent tribunal found some aspects of the APT rules to be unlawful following Manchester City’s lawsuit.

Rooney, who moved back to his boyhood club Everton in the summer after 13 trophy-laden years with Manchester United, scored the opener in the Toffee’s 1-1 draw with City on Monday night at the Etihad.

And after cupping his ears and celebrating in front of the home end, Rooney was subject to quite a bit of abuse, but the 31-year-old probably couldn’t hear it as he was mobbed by his teammates on reaching the milestone mark of 200 Premier League goals.

Rooney, who scored quite a few against United’s arch-rivals City while he was a Red Devil, is perhaps most famous for his overhead kick against them in 2011, a goal which is said to be the finest the Manchester Derby has ever witnessed.
