Following the sacking of Dutchman Roelant Oltmans recently, his countryman Sjoerd Marijne will take over as Indian men’s hockey coach, Sports Minister Rajyavandhan Rathore announced on Friday.

Rathore, in a series of tweets, named the hockey coaches for India’s men’s and women’s teams.

Harendra Singh, who guided India’s junior hockey team to the World Cup win last year, will now coach the Indian eves.

“Pleased to announce appointment of Harendra Singh, Dronacharya Award winner, as High Performance Specialist Coach for Indian Senior Women Hockey Team,” Rathore tweeted.

Earlier the women’s team was being coached by 43-year-old Dutchman Marijne, who had joined the camp in February this year.
