Parliament will take final call on UCC: Omar on U’khand govt’s move
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday asserted that Parliament will take the final call on the contentious Uniform Civil Code.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said she was appalled by the incident wherein ‘Dangal’ fame actress Zaira Wasim was allegedly molested on a flight, and sought swift action in the matter.
The National Award winning actor has alleged that she was molested by a co-passenger on board a Delhi-Mumbai Vistara Arilnes flight and narrated her ordeal on Instagram-via-live video.

Zaira said she was on an Air Vistara flight from Delhi to Mumbai when a co-passenger sitting behind her put up his feet on her armrest.

Zaira, who belongs to Kashmir, shot into limelight after the role of a child wrestler in the movie “Dangal”.
Former Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah also demanded legal action against the unidentified man accused of “molesting” Zaira.
Omar Abdullah tweeted; “The passenger should be identified to the police by @airvistara & a case filed for legal action. None of this ‘he fell at my feet so I forgive him’ rubbish!”.
