One of the interesting aspects of the show is about the will to quit smoking! Soman, who is also an athlete, will not only host but will also take part in the adventure-based reality show as mentor to the contestants, who will set on a quest not just to conquer ‘Everest Base Camp’ but also their own personal Everest.

Soman, who himself was a chain-smoker in the past, is looking forward to the exhilarating experience with the contestants.
“Hosting ‘I Can, You Can’ was an exhilarating experience for me. We shot some breathtaking sequences in the unexplored terrains on our way to the Everest Camp. I have been a chain-smoker in the past and I could relate to what the contestants of the show have been through. I think when something is so easily accessible and addictive, it just makes it tougher to put a stop to it. I hope with this show, viewers will realise how important a healthy lifestyle is and be encouraged to kick the butt,” Soman adds.
The series will showcase the journey of six people, including three who wants to quit smoking, and three who have already quit.
‘I Can You Can’ will go live on December 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm and will be telecast every Sunday on National Geographic. The show will also be available at the official online partner Viu.
